Nomadic

Nomadic is an interdisciplinary program that brings together artists, musicians, writers, filmmakers, and creatives for an intensive five-day exchange.

During Nomadic, participants collaborate to challenge conventional filmmaking methods, reworking the entire process, from concept to production and post-production. The aim is to reshape the structure of film—not only in how it’s made but also in how it’s experienced by audiences. By embracing experimentation and unconventional approaches, the program encourages participants to break away from traditional storytelling and explore new cinematic forms driven by artistic expression.

At its core, Nomadic is about creative exploration—true to its name, which reflects movement and discovery. This approach allows filmmakers to break away from narrative conventions and embrace open-ended structures that mirror the spontaneity of real-world encounters. Each city the program visits becomes part of the storytelling process, integrating local people, travelers, and urban rhythms into the films. More than just a filmmaking program, Nomadic is an evolving artistic experience—one that redefines both the creative process and audience engagement by curating immersive screenings and site-specific presentations.
